Happy birthday Molly! I can't believe you are already turning 3. You bring so much happiness to our family. It seems like we were taking you home from the hospital just the other day. You are growing up to be such a wonderful young lady. Daddy and I love having conversations with you and hearing all about your "friend" Eyelash. We love you so much!
Today we had pancakes for breakfast- Molly's favorite...I think she takes after her daddy! Molly usually loves them but for some reason today she only took a few bites. I think she was too excited and wanted to play with her new toys.
After dinner tonight we had a mini Tinkerbell cake and Molly opened up her presents from us. When I say open I mean tore through everything flinging it on the floor. It was over in about 3 seconds.
The evening ended with a bubble bath in our big bath tub. The girls loved it!

kite flying
I found these kites at Wal-Mart for $1...let me rephrase that...the girls found the kites in a bin and begged I mean begged for a kite. They were only $1 and it made for a great bribe while I did my grocery shopping. I think Audrey only had hers taken away about two times only to be returned by this sucker of a momma. Well let me tell you the girls love their kites.

4th of July
We had a lot of fun this year. My mom and dad watched Cora for us all day long so we could take the girls to Black Bob Bay. I am not sure if the girls were more excited by the water park or the fact that they got to swim during nap time. We came home to take showers and naps. Molly slept until 7pm...they were tired and very tan little girls when we got home...so glad they have Jon's coloring. =)
We took some muffin to our new neighbors. They have 4 kids-one who is a girl about Audrey's age. Really nice family! We invited them to come along with us to watch fireworks. All day long the girls have been begging me to invited the neighbors to play...I guess they have a new friend!
The girls decorated a fruit pizza. They were so excited. I had planned to make a flag using the fruit but decided that it would be more fun for a 4 and 2 year old to drop it all over instead. After uploading these pictures I realized Molly was licking her hands after every piece of fruit she put on the pizza...oops I brought this to share with all of our neighbors while we watched fireworks...luckily she isn't sick. =)
We went to the Great Mall along with two of our neighbor families to watch the fireworks. Molly was sooooo excited. She LOVES fireworks. In fact she keeps telling us she wants a fireworks birthday this year but that isn't going to happen.

We finally made it home at about 10:30 pm after a long time in traffic. The girls went right to sleep which is a rarity at our house. Even sweet Cora was worn out after a day of fun with Honey and Pop.
It was a great day full of fun as we celebrated our freedom-not only the freedom we have in our independence but also the freedom we have in Christ.
John 8:32
